Atlanta Fest 2013: To Feature Duck Dynasty Cast Members
Atlanta Fest 2013, from June 13- 15, is set to feature some of the biggest names in Christian music and entertainment including, Phil and Kay Robertson of Duck Dynasty, TobyMac, Kari Jobe, Newsboys, Citizen Way, Building 429, Lecrae, Crowder, The Vespers, Audio Adrenaline, Tenth Avenue North, Sidewalk Prophets, Tedashii and more.
Other names on the schedule include Dwayne Moore, George Moss, Andy Mineo, Wade Morris, Laura Watson, Silverline, Kiros, Seventh Day Slumber, Matt Little John Band, Rising Life, Appointed, Remnant, We Are Leo, Royal Tailor, Scott Dawson, Matt Papa, Tony Nolan, Clemency, KJ52, Finding Favor, Jessa Anderson, Karyn Williams, Sole Verdict, 10 Steps Back, Surviving The Fall, The Next Level, Joey Hill, Jamie Grace, Sons and Daughters, Derej Minor, Propaganda, FM Williams Band, StereoRadio, Rhett Walker and David Nasser.
The festival is known as 'THE Christian Music Festival' to thousands in the Southeast and is packed out with 70 different bands and speakers, according to the Atlanta Festwebsite. It combines over 25 years of tradition, Christian music, influential speakers and about 20,000 audience members.
Atlanta Fest is located in Stone Mountain Park, Georgia and allows guests to have access to four days of music and ministry by top Christian artists and speakers as well as access to the sights and activities within the park. The festival features four different stages, Woods stage, Adullam House Music Hall, Nature's Own Main Stage, and The Big Top Stage, a new stage for this years festival that will feature Indie music performances in particular.
Each day begins with morning worship and devotionals at Woods stage at 9 a.m., which is followed by numerous activities at the the other stages throughout the day. The festival allows Christian radio stations to broadcast live from 'radio row' during the event. On Wednesday evening the festival will hold a laser show at 9:15 p.m.. In addition, the event also offers vendors for food, snacks and other festival memorabilia.
Tickets run from $20- $40 per day, however tickets within the $20-$30 range have already been completely sold out. Three day tickets run from $30- $70, and all three-day tickets are now sold-out except those that are $90. A Stone Mountain adventure pass must be purchased separately and it costs $20 for three days. Camping and hotel accommodations are also offered, however, only the camping remains as the hotel accommodations have been sold out. VIP packages are also available. Primitive camp sites cost $15 per site. All tickets and accommodations will be available until they are sold out.
"AtlantaFest is an amazing event, combining entertainment, enlightenment, and life-changing messages to minister to not only those who walk with God, but those who are lost and hurting find a relationship with Jesus Christ," writes the event website.
