Apple has their next big media event on September 9th and are expected to officially unveil the highly anticipated iPhone 6. This would mean the iPhone 6 would be in stores by September 19th. Some speculate that the bigger 5.5-inch phone will wait and be released early in 2015. 

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be announced at Samsung's Unpacked event that is scheduled for September 3rd. The Note 4 is expected to hit stores around September 25th. Different carriers might have separate release dates. 

Samsung and Apple will be competing for best smartphone of Fall 2014 as they will released the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Apple's iPhone 6. Here is a rundown of the comparisons between the two smartphones. 

The new Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be unveiled at the IFA show event in Berlin running from September 5th thru 10th. Some rumors say September 3rd also could be a release date. Apple's iPhone 6 was not unveiled at their WWDC conference a few weeks back when they released iOS 8 which means the iPhone 6 will get a Fall launch, which is pretty typical for Apple's pattern of releasing new products. The reports are that it will be in September, so the question is how closely the iPhone 6 and Galaxy Note 4 will actually release. If they released the same week, that would be pretty epic, but most likely one will take the lead and the next will follow a few weeks later. 

Price: The iPhone 6 expected to have a similar price as previous generations with a $199.99 and $299.99 offer with a two year contract. The iPhone 5S is currently $649-849 for contract free phones depending on storage space. Galaxy Note 3 price is around $730 in most of the countries and a $750 for the Note 4 is what many are expecting but would not cross $800 barrier.

OS and Processor: The Galaxy Note 4 will feature either Samsung's new Exynos processor or Snapdragon 805. iPhone 6 will come with atleast 64 bit architecture as A8 processor. Samsung might make a deal with Google for the Galaxy Note 4 to use for Android 4.5 Lollypop version. The iPhone 6 will also comes with next extended version of iOS 8. The Note 4 will use an octa-core Exynos 5433 chip, have 3GB of RAM, and a Touchwhiz interface. 

Screen Display: Galaxy Note 4 will hold the qHD display or 2K pixel based screen. The iPhone 6 will have a 4.7 inch screen and possibily a 5.5 inches screen as well with 2K resolution based screen and protected by Sapphire glass covering. The Note 4 is expected to feature a 2560 x 1440 QHD Super AMOLED resolution display and a 5.7 inch screen. The Galaxy Note 3 included a 5.7-inch Full HD display that was 388 pixels per inch (ppi) and the Galaxy Note 4 could feature a 5.7-inch QHD that would support a pixel density of 515 ppi. Samsung has already produced the first flagship tablets on the market with the WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixel) Super AMOLED display.

Camera Feature: The Galaxy Note 4 could be packed with 16 - 20 MP of Primary rear Camera and 2MP front camera. iPhone 6 may not increase the MP, leaving it at 8MP, but some suggest that it could jump to 10MP with an electronic image stabilization (EIS) to prevent images from blurring. 

Fingerprint Sensor: The iPhone 5S already comes with fingerprint scanner, so its successor, the iPhone 6 will also hold this feature. Rumors suggest that Note 4 will use  Fingerprint scanner feature.

Other Features: Other specs for the Galaxy Note 4 could include 4G LTE connectivity, a fingerprint scanner, wireless charging support, and microSD card storage. The Galaxy Note 4 will be offered by the carriers AT&T, U.S. Cellular and Sprint in a 32GB internal storage option.Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is its Stylus Pen,its IP67 certifications which able to provide feature of Water resistant as well as dust proof screen.

Samsung might release the Galaxy Note 4 in multiple designs and the Korea Times has reported that the curved-display option of the Galaxy Note 4 may be available on a small scale markets, but the main version of the Galaxy Note 4 will feature a flat AMOLED display like the previous models. 

The Apple iPhone 6 will come with upp to 128GB internal storage or expandable storage, heart rate EarPods, a NFC chip, wireless charging compatibility with Apple's rumoured iWatch and Sapphire glass and LiquidMetal design. Apple has built a new factory in Arizona that is being used to manufacture sapphire glass, so this pretty much seals the deal that the phone will have sapphire glass. Reports are the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will be 66mm wide and 7.0mm thick (the 5S is 58.6 x 7.6mm).
