Zelda Wii U Release Date, Spoilers, Reviews and Plot: 3 New Games up for Release while Petition up for Robin Williams Character in Wii U Game
Nintendo announced that they would be releasing about 3 new games at the Entertainment expo event that took place this year and these would be for the Wii U as well as 3DS. At the present, Nintendo has not yet provided a release date for the Zelda game but there was trailer which was shown at the E3 conference giving some hints about the upcoming game and at the end of the video, the year 2015 was illustrated. There were some questions at the end of the conference as to whether the next version of the game would be out before the next E3 2015 event.
In the previous game installations for Zelda, the game-play was a bit linear meaning that players would go from one dungeon to the next in an orderly fashion. The difference in this upcoming release is that the game play is that the Wii U release will be featuring an open world session where the players in the game can freely choose what they want to do or where they want to go next. Nintendo wanted to provide a more action adventure feel to the setting. This time Nintendo is offering two games for the Wii U platform and Hyrule Warriors for the new Zelda title.
The new reports that have surfaced concerning the Zelda game came because of Robin Williams's untimely death on August 11th. There were 90,000 fans who signed a petition on Change.org, and this was to have Nintendo install a non playable character within the Zelda franchise called Robin. It would be in honor of his contribution and the legend. According to Nick Schaedel who is the organizer of the petition, the request is only and any form of response by Nintendo would be taken as a form of success as concerns the petition to recognize him as a legend. In all likelihood, the petition will be granted but that remains to be seen.
