Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons Engagement: Shedding Some Light On Jim Parson's Alleged Engagement
We have the latest news for you on Jim Parson's alleged engagement. Jim Parson, the Big Bang Theory star, has quashed the rumors going round that he is engaged to his boyfriend of 12 years, Todd Spiewak. After there have been reports that emerged on Friday about him having popped the question, the actor, 41, then posted a photo of the couple dating back to 2003, and addressed the speculation. In the picture, he added a caption saying, "Me and Todd in 2003. Still very happy today....And NOT engaged! #justFYI."
It is reported by the National Enquirer that Jim had proposed after he had received the recent significant payrise per episode from his hit comedy show, the Big Bang Theory. It is reported that a source told American Magazine that, "The labor dispute had Jim really assessing where he was going with his life. Todd has wanted to get married for a long time now, and he told Jim he felt like they were just treading water in their relationship."
Jim Parsons and his other two cast members Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki are believed to have signed new contracts where they will be earning a cool $1 million per episode. The three stars from sitcom are said to be at par with the Friends cast who are believed to have earned the same amount per show during the final episode of the New York-based programmes. The renewed contracts will mean that the three stars, Kaley, 28, Johnny, 39, and Jim, 41, will be earning almost triple the amount they were earning before, which is $350,000 per installment of the 30-minute programme. According to reports, Jim Parsons is the highest-paid gay actor on TV. Parson had been nominated for seven Emmys for his role on the series, and has won three, as well as a Golden Globe Award.
During his 2013 Emmy awards, he thanked his partner during the acceptance speech calling him his "favorite person on the planet." Many things have been said and rumored but this is not confirmed as Jim denied it. You can count on us to keep you updated about any new developments concerning this.
