It will be quite a disappointment for those expecting a metal-cased galaxy phone. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha will feature a 4.7-inch super AMOLED display with 720*1280 pixel screen resolution. It also has a one-of-a-kind PenTile pixel grouping. More to this, the smartphone will be powered by an Exynos processor or a quad core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 801) processor which will depend of the region of release. The phone will have 115g weight and a thickness of 6.7mm.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha will be available for pre-order from 15^th August in Russia which will be followed by its release on 12^th September.
