'Harry Potter' Daniel Radcliffe Surprises Fans During 'What If' Film Premiere, Watch Funny Footage Here (VIDEO)

Actor Daniel Radcliffe is preparing for the official release of his new movie What If (Aug 22) and decided to surprise some of his fans. People thought they were doing an interview about Radcliffe's new movie What If, little did they know that Daniel would be there to surprise them. Watch the funny video of their priceless reactions above. 

The 25-year-old recently shared with UK Screen about expanding his roles. "I'll keep trying to build up as extensive of a body of work as I can, so that eventually, you won't be able to avoid having seen me in something else. 

He added, "And I hope that this film is part of that, and it potentially could find a wide audience, but you can't bet on anything and I just have to keep doing work that excites me and makes me passionate and I hope that people accept me as an actor."

Radcliffe is starring in the new romantic comedy What If alongside Zoe Kazan. They have released the first trailer for the film from Entertainment One, watch above. 

What If also stars Adam Driver and Megan Park and is directed by Michael Dowse. The film is produced by David Gross, Macdara Kelleher, Andre' Rouleau and Marc Stephenson. 

Synopsis: WHAT IF is the story of medical school dropout Wallace (Daniel Radcliffe), who's been repeatedly burned by bad relationships. So while everyone around him, including his roommate Allan (Adam Driver) seems to be finding the perfect partner (Mackenzie Davis), Wallace decides to put his love life on hold. It is then that he meets Chantry (Zoe Kazan) an animator who lives with her longtime boyfriend Ben (Rafe Spall). Wallace and Chantry form an instant connection, striking up a close friendship. Still, there is no denying the chemistry between them, leading the pair to wonder, what if the love of your life is actually your best friend? The ensemble romantic comedy costars Megan Park and Oona Chaplin.

What If was a nominee for Best Picture at the 2nd Canadian Screen Awards, and won for Adapted Screenplay. The film is set to released on August 22nd.
