Although the release date for the third season of "Orange is The New Black" has not yet been confirmed by Netflix, the fans are really waiting for the release of the series and are still clamoring for more updates about the upcoming new season.

The filming of the upcoming new season has already started.  The renewal of the series might have probably been attributed by the high ratings of the series from its Multiple Emmy nominations. There have been reports indicating that there will be coercion between Laura Prepon's character Alex Vause with Taylor Schilling's Piper Chapman in the soon-to-come season. These rumors have been based on the 2^nd season of the series when Vause left Litchfield after she had testified against her former boss who was a drug dealer.

It is on the other hand revealed by Natasha Lyonne, who plays Nicky Nichols, an intriguing spoiler about what the fans should expect in the upcoming 3^rd season of the series. She said to the People Magazine, "In three words: So much bloodshed." The 35-year-old actress, who is said to have a past with drug abuse, is perceived to be the most suited person to take the role of Nicky. She said, "Believe me, there's no shortage of things for me to draw on when it comes to Nicky's backstory."

Although the Orange is The New Black will not be release any time before 2015, it is good to know that the 3^rd season is under production. The prison drama has received 3 awards from the 16^th Annual Young Hollywood awards which took place not very long ago. The awards won were 'Best bingeworthy TV show', best breakthrough actress' and the 'we love to hate you' award. There is no doubt that this is an award winning show and it must be interesting to the fans. All we need to do is to wait until the release date of the series is finally announced.
