The Hobbit 3 Release Date, Spoilers and Cast: Orlando Bloom Shares Some Tidbits About the Plot

 

Watch out movie fans, The Hobbit 3 release date is finally out. In a breaking news from Deadline, Warner Bros Pictures has decided to push back the release date for The Hobbit: the Battle of the Five Armies, the much awaited final movie in the trilogy adaptation by Peter Jackson of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings novels. Originally set for a July 2014 release, the studio has announced that The Hobbit 3 is not set to hit theatres until December of this year.

The Hobbit: the Battle of the Five Armies trailer also revealed that fans of the heroes of the Middle Earth will be hyped up for some treat for some unreleased scenes from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Meanwhile, according to an interview conducted for International Business Time, Orlando Bloom shared some bits about The Hobbit 3 story. According to him, The Hobbit 3 plot may significantly focus on the relationship of father - and - son of his character Legolas and his father Thranduil. He confirmed that the story will also feature the rivalry between the two due to King Thranduil's beliefs that go against some of the elves' principles.

The Hobbit: the Battle of the Five Armies cast will also feature a majority of returning faces from the previous Hobbit films. Lee Pace and Orlando Bloom shall reprise their roles as the father and son Thranduil and Legolas respectively, as well as Ian McKellan who had been playing as Gandalf for the past LOTR series.
