Mockingjay Release Date, Spoilers, Cast and Other News: The Hunger Games is Back!
The Hunger Games fans will be seeing Panem once again. Following the rousing success of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1," is set to be released on November 21.
The second Mockingjay movie, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" will be out in November 2015.
Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson headline the Mockingjay movies. Julianne Moore has signed on to play President Alma Coin. Other cast members include Donald Sutherland as the ruthless President Snow, Wes Chatham as Castor, Elden Henson as Pollux, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali as Boggs, and Patina Miller as Commander Paylor.
Based on the best-selling books written by Suzanne Collins, "The Hunger Games" is set in Panem, a chaotic and poverty-ridden state. Randomly selected representatives of Panem's 13 districts participate in a televised death match each year.
Based on the Mockingjay movie trailer, fans should expect a darker version of the last installment of the series, but with exciting action sequences audiences should look out for.
