Sidewalk Prophets Unveils Details For Highly Anticipated Fifth Studio Album, "Looking Up"
Curb Records band Sidewalk Prophets unveils details for their highly anticipated fifth studio album, Looking Up, and sets a release date for Feb. 14, 2025. Fans can pre-add, pre-save and pre-order the forthcoming collection starting today (10/25) HERE. A full tracklisting can be found below.
Additionally, the record's title-cut is now available today with the official music video for "Looking Up (feat. Megan Danielle)" premiering exclusively on YouTube at 10 a.m. CT on Friday, Nov. 1. The band also announces their 6th annual "Great Big Family Christmas Tour," which kicks off Dec. 6 - fans can purchase tickets HERE.
The close knit band spent nearly two years writing, producing, and recording Looking Up, and the end result is an introspective, sonically diverse exploration of what it means to be a human and a Christ follower. Featuring guest collaborations from singer/songwriter Ben Fuller and "American Idol" alum Megan Danielle, the upcoming full-length LP blends the profound lyricism and signature storytelling the Dove Award-winning band has long been known for.
With the title-cut launching today, "Looking Up," boasts a rustic vocal from Danielle alongside a poignant delivery from frontman Dave Frey. The pair performed the choir-assisted duet together when Sidewalk Prophets made their Grand Ole Opry debut earlier this year. Detailing life when it hits rock bottom, the dynamic ballad shares a meaningful message, offering fans another glimpse into the upcoming album.
Sidewalk Prophets will kick off their 6th annual "Great Big Family Christmas Tour" on Dec. 6. A night of celebration geared towards making memories with family and loved ones, the show will hit 12 cities this Christmas season. In its first five years, the tour raised over $300,000 for those in need, with a goal to gift $1 million by its 10th annual Christmas show. Fans can purchase tickets HERE using pre-sale code "GIVEMECHRISTMAS" and General Admission tickets will be 20% off with code "CHRISTMAS24."
As they share new music out on the road, the award-winning outfit has two stops left on the fall leg of their popular "Songs & Stories Tour." The final shows will take place Oct. 27, 2024, in Honea Path, S.C., and Nov. 2, 2024, in Clayton, Ohio. The band will drop additional songs in the remaining months leading up to Looking Up's Valentine's Day release.
