Blessing Offor Releases New Single “Jordans”
Fresh off the release of his crisp, summer-time anthem "Autobahn," two-time GRAMMY® nominee Blessing Offor entwines faith with feelings of perseverance and determination with his new single "Jordans," available today on all digital service providers. "Jordans" presents as a contemplative, mid-tempo track - all centered around Blessing's crafty piano playing and impassioned, powerful vocal delivery. Listen to the "Jordans" HERE.
"This song I wrote for myself," Blessing explains. "Sometimes, it's helpful to look back and remember where I was and how far I've come. The future can look daunting, and remembering what you've been through can be its own encouragement to keep going... because 'won't He do it? Yes, He will!'"
"Jordans" was written by Blessing along with Hank Bentley, and produced by multi-platinum, award-winning producer Henrik Michelsen.
With his latest single "Jordans," Blessing offers a reminder that miracles are continuously happening - throughout the course of time, and throughout our own lives. Keeping those stories of wonder close to us is key to help appreciate all that we have, and can serve as motivation to persevere through struggle. "All those waves won't knock me down / I will stand on the rock I've found," Blessing sings with pride, cementing his faith alongside an impassioned group of backing vocalists. "Won't He do it? Yes, He will."
The release of "Jordans" continues a busy year for Blessing. The Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist previously released a new single "Autobahn," collaborated on the track "Somebody's Child" with global music icon Dolly Parton, and recently wrapped up a major North American tour with Lauren Daigle after collaborating with her on a new version of her track "These Are The Days." Blessing is currently readying new music for 2025.
