Apple iPad Air 2 Release Date: Specs and Features Leaked Though Release Date Still Remains Mysterious

The point of the iPad Air was to provide something more efficient and portable to the market. As such, according to some reports from Korea, the suppliers are actually gearing up for production of the next generation of the iPad Air, known as the Apple iPad air 2 later this year. The iPad Air signified a new product line with a new design, lighter components and more efficient specs.  As such, the iPad Air 2 will come with the same features as compared to iPad Air but with extended features such as Touch ID and a new A8 processor.

At the time, there is no exact release date of the device as given by the tech giant. However, rumor is that the device is going to see an October 2014 launch date for the device and that would imply the rollout to the market would happen within a few days. Apparently, apple is keeping news about the latest version of the iPad Air 2 close to its chest because it wants the fans to be surprised by what they come up with this time. Of course, this is slowly but efficiently building momentum of interest as concerns the device.  Similarly, this is not enough to limit the rumors already circulating about the device's specs and capabilities.

The latest rumor on the device implies that the iPad Air 2 is going to feature a 9.7 inch screen display. It will also come available with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and will be equipped with finger print scanning technology otherwise known as Touch ID. As stated before, the iPad Air 2 will come available with an A8 processor and 8MP iSight camera at the rear. There will be a 1.2MP camera at the front, though this could be 1.5 MP. It will feature the latest technology chipset out of Apple with a 64-bit architecture. The iPad Air will also feature Apple's new iOS 8 software.
