Edwrin Sutton Takes Listeners on a Faith Journey with "I Still Believe 1.0"
Edwrin Sutton brings life to the gospel classic by living the life he sings about. The Billboard top-charting singer-songwriter takes his listeners on a journey from faith to faith with the release of I Still Believe 1.0.
Kerry Douglas brought Edwrin Sutton to Blacksmoke Music Worldwide in 2018. Sutton's debut single, "I Hear Rain," was featured on the Kerry Douglas 'Gospel Mix X' and on the 'Gospel Mix XI' series. This compilation project debuted at #1 on the Billboard Gospel Sales Charts. His single peaked on the Gospel Radio Billboard Charts at #32. His debut album "The Revival" debuted at #5 on the Billboard Gospel Sales Chart & at #23 on Billboard Top Gospel Albums.
His compositions draw inspiration from his daily experiences in his Christian walk and everyday life challenges. Believe is an example of this. "I have never written a song that is so simple, Sutton said. However, I have never written a song so impactful. `I Still Believe 1.0' came into existence right after my wife and I had a miscarriage. This loss shook us! After that loss, this song came to fruition. Life comes quick and fast with many unanswered questions, but you have to make up `your' mind, no matter what I face, 'I Still Believe'."
Blacksmoke CEO Kerry Douglas commented, "Of course, everybody is looking for their next big hit disguised in rhythm and syncopated delivery, but I believe there are songs that still minister and encourage people as they face the horrendous situations in life each day. This song is one of them."
"I Still Believe" will be released on August 2nd on digital outlets and streaming platforms, followed later in August by a radio campaign
