Divergent star Shailene Woodley shows off her other side behind the Camera

Veronica Roth's bestselling teenage novel 'Divergent' has recently been turned into a great film that has captured and fascinated the hearts and minds of its viewers. Aside from its great plot and effects, something about the film had the hearts of many entangled, or rather someone, yes we are talking about its lead star Shailene Woodley. She does not only have great beauty but awesome acting skills that made her feel truly at one with her character.

Her departure from the film had given her a great leap in her career in which she was very grateful for. As a matter of fact, she had initially turned down the offer to do the movie. Being that the novel has the same vibe as the Hunger Games. She had sought the advice of the star of the former, Jennifer Lawrence, known for her role as Katniss Everdeen. Thanks to Jennifer, who told her that she doesn't regret at all taking the role, Woodley was encouraged and finally said yes to the film.

Since then, she had been countlessly casted and called to play various roles on television and movies. She almost had the role of Mary Jane Watson in Amazing Spiderman 2 but due to the rework of the film the role has been revoked. She also starred in the film adaptation of John Green's novel 'The Fault in Our Stars' which had bought quite a bucket of tears in the eyes of many.

Even with the fame in her hands, she remains close to her family and friend and maintains her cheerful, loving vibe.
