Here Are Lyrics to planetboom's "Out With The Old - Live At Boom Camp"
The dynamic, multicultural youth ministry of Planetshakers Church, planetboom, has released "Out With The Old - Live At Boom Camp" to digital and streaming outlets globally from Venture3Media (V3M). The new single follows the release of planetboom's acclaimed You, Me, The Church, That's Us album that captures planetboom's unique and eclectic sonic identity. The dynamic recordings range from big, broad statements about the church family to intimate, personal moments between individuals and God.
Produced by creative director Josh Ham and written by Ham and Noah Walker, the video of "Out With The Old" was filmed live at Boom Camp 2022 in Melbourne, Australia. "This song is a 2 Corinthians 5:17 declaration that anyone who belongs to Christ is a new creation; leaving the old life behind and stepping into the new that God has for us!" exclaims the team.
Here are the lyrics:
[Verse 1]
We looking to the new thing
Forget all the former things
I can see it now, I can see it
I believe it now, I believe it
You've taken all my old ways
And You're making me new
[Pre-Chorus]
Out with the old and we in with the new
I'm looking ahead 'cause I'm looking at You
Out with the old and we in with the new
I'm running to You, I'm running to You
[Chorus]
Woah-oh-oh, I'm ready for it
Woah-oh-oh, only You can do it
Out with the old 'cause You're making me new
Woah-oh-oh, I'm ready for it
[Instrumental]
[Verse 2]
It's the greatest feeling
Giving You the old me
Living in the new me
Jеsus working through me
It's the greatеst feeling
I can see it dawning
Joy comes in the morning
I can hear You calling
And it's the greatest feeling
Every day making me new
You're taking me through, I'm following You
All honour and glory and power to You
[Pre-Chorus]
Out with the old and we in with the new
I'm looking ahead 'cause I'm looking at You
Out with the old and we in with the new
I'm running to You, I'm running to You
[Chorus]
Woah-oh-oh, I'm ready for it
Woah-oh-oh, only You can do it
Out with the old 'cause You're making me new
Woah-oh-oh, I'm ready for it
[Instrumental]
[Bridge]
You, You
Living each day for You, You
This is the day that the Lord has made
So I will praise You
Out with the old, in with the new
You, You
Living each day for You, You
This is the day that the Lord has made
So I will praise You
Out with the old, in with the new
You, You
Living each day for You, You
This is the day that the Lord has made
So I will praise You
[Pre-Chorus]
Out with the old and we in with the new
I'm looking ahead 'cause I'm looking at You
Out with the old and we in with the new
I'm running to You, I'm running to You
[Chorus]
Woah-oh-oh, I'm ready for it
Woah-oh-oh, only You can do it
Out with the old 'cause You're making me new
Woah-oh-oh, I'm ready for it
