Lou Fellingham Previews New Hymns Album with "Nothing But the Blood of Jesus"
Internationally known worship leader Lou Fellingham returns with her first hymns album Leaning on the Everlasting Arms, which is due for release in late October. The album features 13 hymns, sung and played by Lou and Nathan Fellingham. Featuring only piano and vocals, the Fellinghams place their unique touches on classics such as "Great is Thy Faithfulness,""Everlasting Arms,""Praise my Soul the King of Heaven,""My Hope is Built,""When I Survey,""To God Be the Glory," and more.
As a preview to the record, Fellingham has release her take on "Nothing But the Blood of Jesus," which is available now to stream and to download. "We made a hymns album! First single out today on Spotify and Apple Music," she announces. "'Nothing but the blood of Jesus' is a powerful reminder that when it comes to knowing God it is Jesus plus nothing.
This album is an extension of what Nath and I have been doing online throughout lockdown and as we transition out of lockdown. Just piano and voice, we hope you enjoy this first single and look forward to sharing more with you soon! An extension of the worship Nath and I have been leading throughout lockdown with just piano and voice.
Thanks to all of your encouragement so far and to @spotify for adding me to your New Music Friday Christian playlist. We have loved digging through these hymns.
If you want to pre-order a cd you can still do it from www.loufellingham.com.
