Sanctus Real Inspires Us to Dwell in God's Goodness with "Rebel"
Sanctus Real are back with their new track "Rebel," with its accompanying official music video, which can be viewed below. "Rebel" follows on the heels of their recently released single "My God Is Still The Same." Sanctus Real is set to create another string of inspiring anthems, combining elements of worship joined with their unique and radio-friendly sound.
"Our hope is that this song will inspire people to remember the goodness of God in their lives, how He's always been there, bringing them through any difficult circumstance they've ever experienced," Mark Graalman concludes. "God is faithful to His loving and caring nature. We can trust we will continue to see His kindness toward us and experience His grace again and again!"
Fans are elated about "Rebel." Here are some of their reflections:
You guys are the best. I can't stop listening to your music. The music is on every play list of mine. I love this song.
This song is so beautiful with the storytelling. Don't give up the good fight of faith.
You guys have gotten me through so much over the past 15 years. The right song always comes out right when my heart needs it most, and Rebel is no exception. So, Thank you.
Everybody watch the video... all the way through to the end! Touched by this song and video, praise God!

Here are the lyrics:
Born a rebel
Always tryin' to swim upstream
Answering to no one
No one, but me
Who needs Jesus
When you're tryin' to be James Dean
I never saw a tough man turn his cheek
That seemed so weak
Look at me thinking I was free
When my hands were really tied
A ball and chain are easier to break
Than a man's foolish pride
I was stumbling down the road to Damascus
You were the truth that I couldn't see
But I heard you say come oh come
Be a rebel for me
Follow, follow me
Follow, follow me
You were a fighter
Love your only cause
You fought so hard
They put you on a cross
Can I believe it
That right up to the bitter end
You chose to lose your life so I could win
And start again
Look at me thinking I was free
When my hands were really tied
A ball and chain are easier to break
Than a man's foolish pride
I was stumbling down the road to Damascus
You were the truth that I couldn't see
I heard you say come oh come
Be a rebel for me
Follow, follow me
Follow, follow me
In this moment there's nothing left I want to hold
I'd give up all the world to gain my soul
So God I'm open, make me what you're looking for
Cause no kingdom of this earth compares with yours
And I'm yours
I am yours
I'm yours
Yeah I'm yours
God I'm yours
Oh I'm yours
Oh look at me now I'm finally free
I've got nothing left to hide
Oh if I'm a fool I'm a fool for you
And I give you all that pride
I was stumbling down the road to Damascus
But you knew who I could be
I heard you say come oh come
Be a rebel for me
Follow, Follow me
Follow, Follow me
Oh I heard you say come, oh come
Be a rebel for me
