1 Girl Nation's Carmen Justice Goes Solo & Releases the Theme Song of Her Life
Carmen Justice was the front-woman of the Dove Award-nominated girl band 1 Girl Nation. However, she has decided to step out on her own. She has just released her brand new single "Glitter." Produced by David Spencer (Hunter Hayes, Jacob Whitesides), "Glitter" is a power anthem empowering women to not let people put boxes around them.
Justice says of the alt-pop jam. "I think every human feels like there are limitations placed on them-whether that's limitations we put on ourselves, or it's things that people have spoken over us. I want 'Glitter' to make people feel like they can be themselves. I been this excited for any song of mine to be released. go stream away and add it to your playlists! tell your friends. share it with that person who pissed you off. whatever you do, DON'T LET ANYONE RAIN ON YOUR PARADE."
Justice goes on to talk about how the song came about. "Glitter is a song that I wrote with my good friend David Spencer, and it has honestly become the theme song for my life. I've been really inspired over the last couple of years to write songs that would inspire other people to just be themselves and bring a smile to people's faces, and Glitter is exactly that. This song is truly my way of saying "I really don't care what anyone else thinks of me. I know who I am. I won't bow down to anyone's expectations of who I should or could be."
