Planetshakers Releases New Single "I Remember"
Internationally recognized praise and worship band Planetshakers has released "I Remember (Studio Version)" to digital and streaming outlets globally today (May 15) from Venture3Media (V3M). Available at Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and more, the single also becomes the next Planetshakers song to hit radio. The song's lyric video is further featured on Planetshakers' YouTube page, which has over one million subscribers and more than 277 million views.
"I Remember (Studio Version)" was produced, mixed and sung by Joth Hunt, who also co-wrote it with Sam Evans. Hunt additionally leads the live version of the song that was featured on the acclaimed Glory Part One digital EP recorded in Melbourne at Planetshakers Church and released Jan. 10.
"When we remember who Jesus is and what He has won for us, the things of this world grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace," says Russell Evans, Planetshakers Founder and Senior Pastor, reflecting on the current world pandemic and the message of the new single.
"Each day we all face unexpected life-altering challenges. None of us are immune to life's curveballs," adds Planetshakers' Joshua Brown. "However, when we are faced with such situations, the Bible encourages us to remind ourselves about the victory Jesus won for us."
'Cause You're alive
You rose up from the grave
You're alive
Forever You will reign
Jesus You are greater
You are Christ, our Saviour
("I Remember" chorus)
The new single and Glory Part One EP follows the release of the Glory Part Two EP (April 3) that features the voices of 30,000 people during a "Praise Party" at SMART Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines.
