Elizabeth Grace Making an Impact with Her Top 5 Single "Like Myself"
One of the most exciting new Christian artists last year, Elizabeth Grace, has taken the radio charts by storm with her debut single "Like Myself." After signing with Dream Records in 2019, the 20-year-old pop artist - songwriter released the track that started a rapid climb up the charts, reaching No. 3 on Billboard's Hot AC/CHR chart. It also peaked at No. 1 for seven weeks on The Hot Chart. The track was produced by Justin Amundrud (Fleurie, Elevation Worship, Loren North), and he joined Ray Ervin and Tenth Ave North's Jeff Owen on co-writing "Like Myself."
Feedback from the Christian music industry was instantly positive with CCM magazine saying the single "....is the best thing I heard today," Steve Shore at WAY-FM raves, "Elizabeth Grace has a fantastic, fresh female pop sound...," with Tim Collings adding, "Such an important message!" Major radio stations across the country supported the single with airplay from such outlets as KXNG-FM, Houston; WAWZ-FM, New York; KZTH-FM, Oklahoma City; The Heat, New Orleans; KLJY-FM, St. Louis; Spark HD3, Chicago.
The focus of Grace's music will be the hope that God brings to the world, and the strength it produces through difficult circumstances. With the messages of perfection that young women face every day, Grace embraces faith as a strong healing power that brings the realization that God loves us for who we are.
"I feel so blessed with all of the support I have received for 'Like Myself,' said Grace. "Justin, Ray and Jeff are such talented songwriters and it's such a gift to all of us with the message of this song. I want to thank radio for giving the track continual airplay, and for the fans who responded to the music. As a new artist, I consider this to be a fantastic way to be introduced into the Christian music community."
"When I first heard Elizabeth's voice I had to stop and take notice, said Owen. "I was immediately convinced she had a gift for singing, and then upon meeting her, I heard the heart behind that voice. She spoke of sharing her story with young girls and making music that helped people in their journey. That's when I became a true fan of what she's doing."Grace will be releasing a second single this summer, with her debut album release in early October. For continued updates about Grace, fans can stay in touch on Instagram, Facebook and at Dream Records.
About Elizabeth Grace
Elizabeth Grace was born and raised in Birmingham, Ala., and her interest in music started as a young child when Grace treated her family with fireside performances. With her budding talent, Grace's mother started her with piano lessons which didn't last very long. Grace wanted to play piano her way, so her musical talent developed by learning to play by ear. In high school, Grace became active with a group of budding singers-songwriters at her hometown church. No one realized the extent of her talent until she sang at her high school graduation and didn't begin songwriting until she was 18. This led to Grace releasing six singles as an indie artist, being featured with Ray Ervin on "The Ones," signing with BMI for publishing, and joining the Dream Records team as a recording artist.
