Darlene Zschech Records "Way Maker" with William McDowell
World-renowned Australian worship leader Darlene Zschech is currently in the US where she's recording new songs for her forthcoming worship album for Integrity Music. Yesterday, she was joined in the studio by her label mate and Gospel music legend William McDowell and a gospel choir. Together, they recorded Sinach's popular worship anthem "Way Maker."
Darlene Zschech writes about the recording session: "I had the honour of recording one of my favourite songs tonight with this legend @pastorwilliammcdowell !! We were surrounded by the most stunning choir and band mates that made being a part of this offering such a huge privilege. ThankYou to all who contributed to tonight ... my jet lagged self is going to bed utterly thankful ( weary) and expectant for tomorrow xx sweet dreams peeps."
Similarly, William McDowell feels the same honor. "Some moments in life are just really cool! This is one of them. Had the great honor of recording a song with @darlenezschech tonight. It will be out later this year."
"Way Maker" has been recorded by numerous worship artists besides Sinach herself. They include LeeLand, Michael W. Smith, Passion, Paul McClure, Voices of Lee, and many others. Here's Sinach's original version:
