Bethel Music's Kalley Heiligenthal Hopes Day 3 will be the Day Her Daughter Gets Resurrected
Early on December 14th, acclaimed Bethel Music's worship leader Kalley Heiligenthal and her husband Andrew's beautiful little girl, Olive Alayne, unexpectedly stopped breathing in her sleep. The doctors have pronounced her as dead. Olive was 2 years old, vivacious, full of wonder, full of life. Nevertheless, Kalley Heiligenthal hopes that her daughter would be ressurected.
"We believe in a Jesus who died and conclusively defeated every grave, holding the keys to resurrection power. We need it for our little Olive Alayne, who stopped breathing yesterday and has been pronounced dead by doctors. We are asking for bold, unified prayers from the global church to stand with us in belief that He will raise this little girl back to life. Her time here is not done, and it is our time to believe boldly, and with confidence wield what King Jesus paid for. It's time for her to come to life."
Kalley Heiligenthal hopes that today, the third day after her daughter stopped breathing, would be the day. "Day 3 is a really good day for resurrection. We are overwhelmed with gratitude by your outpouring of love for us and faith for Olive. Jesus is Faithful and True and He's riding in with the victory He bought for Olive. Olive Alayne means "victorious awakening". We call on the mighty all-sufficient name of Jesus and we call you back by name, sweet girl. You will live. Thank you for your faith-filled declarations, keep them coming. Worship Jesus with us, He is moving, He is good, He is worthy and He is alive."
Bethel Music has set up a GoFundMe page to help the family. "Along with the overwhelming shock and devastation of losing their daughter are the unforeseeable expenses the Heiligenthal family will incur, medical and otherwise," the page reads.
A veteran member of the Bethel Music worship collective, Kalley Heiligenthal also serves as a second-year worship pastor at Bethel's School of Supernatural Ministry. Co-writer of the popular praise anthem "Ever Be," which was nominated for a 2017 Dove Award for Worship Song of the Year, Kalley's "Every Crown" is featured on Bethel Music's latest Dove-nominated, best-selling compilation VICTORY. She is part of "The VICTORY Tour," hitting 10 cities across the country this fall. Showcased on Bethel Music's first Spanish language release, Bethel Music En Español, singing "Por Siempre" and "Sopla Espíritu," Kalley is also featured on the Bethel Music compilations Starlight (2017), Have it All (2016) and We Will Not Be Shaken (2015).
