Bethel Music's Brian and Jenn Johnson Reflect on the Prayer Meeting for President Donald Trump
Bethel Music's Brian and Jenn Johnson joined Jentezen Franklin, Hillsong Church founder Brian Houston, Cody Carnes, Kari Jobe, Paula White, and Sean Feucht to pray for President Donald Trump in the Oval Office last Friday. Brian and Jenn Johnson were one of the many who led worship and prayed for Trump and his administration.
Brian Johnson reflects: "Today was an amazing day :) There is so much GOOD happening the deranged media refuses to talk about!!! This administration is doing things no other before it has had the courage to do especially for all those of faith. -religious liberty, pro-life, Supreme Court justices, lower court appointments, prison reform, economy, human trafficking and more!!!!! I'm so thankful for this opportunity and am excited talk more about what's actually happening in our nation in future posts and videos."
Similarly, Jenn Johnson is grateful. "Brian & I were invited to lead worship @ the #WhiteHouse yesterday! We attended a #FaithBriefing w/ other leaders & got to meet our president @realdonaldtrump & lay hands on him & pray!"
She did also comment on how the Oval Office was filled with the Holy spirit as christian leaders lifted their hands in prayer and worship: "The presence of God was so strong in worship & prayer." Jenn closes off her tweet by encouraging us to pray for Trump and his administration: "This administration needs us. They need our prayer & they need grace. No one is perfect, ourselves included. They literally have the weight of the world on their shoulders. It's detrimental to judge someone or think you know their heart. So pray. Pray for our president. Pray for the staff. Pray for Gods will to be done in our nation. Don't criticize, mock & curse. Write your congressman & pray. That's what changes things."
