'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' Creator Releases Statement on Tracy Morgan's New Show on FX After Wreck

As popular actor/comedian Tracy Morgan recovers in the hospital following his deadly car wreck, he is receiving support from FX network where he had a new show in works with "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" creator.

They released a statement that reads, "The only thing we are concerned with is the health and recovery of Tracy Morgan and the victims of this tragic accident. We will support Tracy and his family in every way possible throughout his recovery. At the point when Tracy has recovered and decides that he is ready to go back to work, his show will be waiting for him. Right now our thoughts and prayers remain with Tracy, the other victims of the accident, and their families."

Thankfully, Morgan is making improvements and his publicist Lewis Kay recently revealed to the press that "Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks. While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go."

Tracy is in the hospital after a deadly six-vehicle car on the New Jersey Turnpike's northbound I-95 lanes near Cranbury Township that took one life and sent seven people to the hospital including Morgan. There was a controversial video that surfaced last week on the TMZ website that showed a man being pulled from a wreck that was supposedly Tracy Morgan. His daughter called for the gossip news site to take the video down and others were protesting the video footage being posted as well.

The 45-year-old actor is best known for his comedic work for eight seasons (1996-2003) as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" on NBC and for his role as Tracy Jordan on the TV series "30 Rock" alongside Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin from 2006-2013 on NBC. He was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2009 Emmy Awards for his work on "30 Rock."

Tracy also tours the country doing stand-up comedy tours. He and his friends were actually in the car after a stand up gig when they were in the accident last week. Ours prayers go out to Tracy and his family as well as everyone else impacted by the accident.
