The Sing Team Releases Their New Album "Live On!"
The Sing Team has released their new album Live On! Featuring brand new live arrangements of TST's beloved original songs and hymns. The release is accompanied by live videos for all six tracks off Live On!, recorded live at Columbia City Theater in Seattle, WA.
The raw, live recordings of Live On! highlight the band's unique gift for creating community. Fronted by bandleader Brian Eichelberger (of Citizens, Kings Kaleidoscope, etc), this EP showcases the band's contagious energy that can be heard in songs of both joy and sorrow. On Live On!, you'll transition between fun, campy sing-alongs (Oh! Great Is Our God!), heart-wrenching moments of vulnerability (Satisfied In You), and hymns with dance-able instrumental breakdowns that come out of nowhere (All Creatures Of Our God and King). You'll also get to learn more about Brian's unique approach to worship in a series of "Live On!" explainer videos released alongside the EP.
"The Sing Team began in 2011, when I invited friends and family to join us for regular gatherings at our home. We'd share meals together and sing songs, and as we began to write and arrange music, it became clear that we were stumbling upon something special: uniquely motown-inspired grooves and showtune- influenced orchestration as accompaniment for our "everybody-sing-along-now" campy group vocals.
That musical backdrop really helped us rediscover a lost purpose of folk music-the gathering of humans to sing songs as an outpouring of their souls. When this happens, the stage becomes insignificant, and the difference between performer, participant, and listener is indistinguishable.
I've spent almost two decades producing recordings and performing with other bands like Citizens & Saints, Kings Kaleidoscope, Dustin Kensrue, and others. My goal in supporting other artists has always been to help them find their voice; the unique message and means of delivering that message is different for all of us. I've found mine among the friends and family of The Sing Team."
