OK GO 2014 Tour Dates Announced Leading up to New Album 'Hungry Ghosts' (VIDEO)

OK GO have released their upcoming North American Tour Dates for Fall 2014. They will be starting on the West coast on July 15th in Sacramento,CA and end up in Nashville,TN at the Mercy Lounge on September 27th. You can check out all the North American dates that they have coming up below. 

They will be releasing their first new studio album in four years titled Hungry Ghosts that is set to release on October 14th. Their fans have been anxiously anticipating new music from the band and they have given their first look at the new album with the release of their single "The Writing's on the Wall." 

They released their official music video for their new song "The Writing's on the Wall" and in typical OK GO fashion, the music video is insanely creative and taken in one live shot. The video took 2 months to prepare for and over 50 run throughs. This might be their most creative and time consuming (in preparation) video that they have done to date. It is cool at the end of the video to see everyone come out from their spots to see how many people it really took to pull the video off. You can watch the innovative video above. 

OK GO originally formed in 1998 in Chicago, Illinois and are currently residing in Los Angeles, California. The band is composed of Damian Kulash (lead vocals, guitar), Tim Nordwind (bass guitar and vocals), Dan Konopka (drums and percussion) and Andy Ross (guitar, keyboards and vocals), who joined them in 2005, replacing Andy Duncan. The band's video for "Here It Goes Again" won a "Grammy Award for Best Music Video" in 2007.
