Momentum Builds For Release Of "Love, Love, Love" ACM Winner Gordon Mote’s New Album
New Haven Records president Ken Harding is very enthusiastic about the August release of Gordon Mote's 2018 project, Love, Love, Love-the 11th album from the celebrated Academy of Country Music Award-winning artist and the third on the New Haven Records label. Says Harding, "The reports we're getting from radio and live concerts are nothing short of fantastic, demonstrating again why Gordon is one of Nashville's premier singers, songwriters, and instrumentalists."
For example, Jan Puryear of Jan Puryear Promotions has received stellar reviews from Southern Gospel radio programmers about the first single, which is also the title cut:
- "From the moment I first heard 'Love, Love, Love' I knew this was going to be a number one song! I just 'Love, Love, Love' this song!" -Brian Crowe, Gospel Radio Favorites/101.7 WJSQ
- "When you listen to Gordon, you know it's gonna be good! With this song, you can feel the love as well as hear it. It reminds me of the way people reacted to Jesus and His simple message of Love, Love, Love." - Dan Bell, WJBZ, Knoxville, TN.
- "Gordon's first single 'Love, Love, Love' is a 'feel good' song in that you can't listen to it without smiling. The great lyrics, combined with Gordon's smooth voice, make me confident this song will quickly climb the charts." - Ron Foster at WZZK, Birmingham, AL
Co-produced by the celebrated talents of Wayne Haun and Phil Johnson, the songs on this album span the stylistic gamut but also have a common thread. Gordon Mote reflects, "When we started listening to songs, there was no particular theme in mind. However, as the list of great songs began to emerge, it became obvious there were several songs focused on a particular subject: love. The title cut, 'Love, Love, Love' reminds us that if God's children will improve showing His love, our world will be a better place."
Mote continues, "We've debuted a number songs in concert from Love, Love, Love over past several weeks and are very encouraged by the response-both during the event and afterwards. The title cut has a great message and makes people smile. "Love is The Golden Rule" is a really catchy tune that has the audience singing along and humming the tune as they leave. Friends and family members of those living with Alzheimer's and dementia have resonated with "Remember for Me." And of course, "Set Your House In Order," with background vocals by the Oak Ridge Boys, is a big hit! We just couldn't be happier with the initial response to this project."
In addition to promotion at Southern Gospel radio, Mote has been interviewed at Nashville's legendary WSM Radio and Singing News Radio as well as by Kyle Cantrell at Sirius XM. New Haven Records president Ken Harding concludes, "This record is not only beautiful music, it's an uplifting message...both for the church and the world at large. We appreciate everyone who will give Love, Love, Love a listen and recommend this wonderful record to their friends."
