Brandon Heath Gets Married in Nashville over Memorial Weekend
Christian artist Brandon Heath tied the knot over the weekend and posted pictures on social media to share the special day. "I'm the happiest guy on planet earth! World, meet my bride Mrs. Siebe Heath," the singer posted along with a selfie with his bride, see photo above.
Brandon and his bride Siebe married on Sunday night in Nashville with friends and family in attendance. The couple were engaged for a just over five months. "I'm a blessed man to marry such a beautiful woman, inside and out. Her heart is soft and her mind is inspiring. Siebe is compassionate and empathetic to all people, and I can't think of a better person to do life with. We've been friends for years and dated for the last two years. We are ready for this next step in our lives, knowing that God will be in the center," a post on Facebook said.
"Country artist & songwriting star, Deana Carter sang for the couple's first dance and guests enjoyed a biscuit bar & wedding cake," Heath's Facebook said. "As a gift to their friends and family, the bride and groom donated a well in the names of their wedding guests via Blood:Water Mission."
Brandon proposed to Siebe on the road while on the Hits Deep Tour with TobyMac in December in New York City. The singer announced his engagement during his set. In between songs the Nashville native stopped and said, "Today's been a emotional day for me. Not only am I playing Madison Square Garden but I asked my girlfriend to marry me." He shared with the crowd about the proposal and said, "I took her to the Central Park ice skating rink, got on one knee and proposed. She said yes!"
