Dr. Leonard S. Scott, a pioneer in the gospel music and praise and worship worlds, released a new holiday musical treat on Black Friday. The new song "It's Christmas" features a vocal assist from Bishop Kevin Harrison and it's available for a special introductory price of 69 cents in the iTunes Store through December 1st.
 
The uplifting tune boasts a Smooth Jazz-Adult R&B musical backdrop as Dr. Scott and Bishop Harrison trade verses about the true meaning of the Christmas holiday.  There's a very nice Tim Bowman-styled guitar breakdown before the two merry gentlemen re-surface to finish the song with Bishop Harrison's velvety tones complimenting Dr. Scott's smooth tenor. "Christ was born on this special day to give hope and wash our sins away," they sing on this song that is destined to become an evergreen holiday classic.
