Disciple's New Album "LONG LIVE THE REBELS" is in Stores Now
After a massively successful Kickstarter campaign, DISCIPLE is releasing its13th studio album - LONG LIVE THE REBELS - today, October 14. In a partnership with Tooth & Nail / BEC Recordings, LONG LIVE THE REBELS is already being lauded as the band's strongest album to date.
Beloved for its intense music and passionate, faith-filled lyrics, this two-time Dove Award winning band has been a staple in the Christian hard rock scene. Two years ago, the band charted a new course with the lineup of Kevin Young (vocals/bass), Andrew Stanton (lead guitar), Josiah Prince (rhythm guitar) and Joey West (drums) and a desire to step away from the label system and launch as independent artists.
Their dedicated fan base was in full support, committing nearly $130,000 to back LONG LIVE THE REBELS via a Kickstarter campaign, more than 200% of the initial goal. "Disciple has always been committed to making music that impacts people's lives," explains Kevin. "This may be our 13th album, but that commitment has never been stronger than on LONG LIVE THE REBELS. We want to be the rebels who will change the world, and we hope that our music inspires others to step out and live their calling, no matter what the circumstance."
