Legin Sings About Avoiding Lust on New Single "There He Go"
Legin (of Renaissance Movement) drops a new single "There He Go" with production by K. Agee. In this song Legin takes his listeners on a journey into the heart of a man tempted by lustful desires while traveling and trying to do the right thing. With top notch production and awesome story telling ability. Legin delivers one of his most transparent tracks to date. Listeners will be simultaneously captivated and encouraged to stay on watch against temptation.
Nigel "Legin" Anderson began producing music at the age of 15 and as well as writing rap lyrics. Music gave him an outlet to express his frustrations from a fatherless childhood, as well as his desires for a better life. The materialistic and self-indulgent pursuits that the culture of hip hop promoted became the goals that drove his decisions.
At the age of 20 experiencing a brief reunion with his estranged father, his death shortly after, and a failed business endeavor that crushed his dreams, Legin hit his knees to begin pursuing the God his mother had told him about. The gospel completely changed Legin's heart, passions and direction. His desire for music took on a new meaning; to share with anyone listening to the life changing, renaissance message of Jesus Christ.
Legin started Renaissance Movement Music with his girlfriend, now wife, and began to create art expressing his "Renaissance" (change). The RM Music family grew as more artists came on board with the vision. Legin produced three personal albums; Lifelines (2006), The Catalyst (2008), Cloud 12 (2014), as well as compilation and personal projects for other RM artists. He has been able to perform across the United States and the UK, as well as open up for artists such as Tedashii, KB, Christon Gray, Nicole C. Mullen, Flame, Social Club, Json, 21:03, V. Rose and has even performed twice at NewSpring, the 4th largest church in the country.
In concert Legin uses an energetic stage presence to express passion, transparency, and the gospel. Fans become family and truth is shared plainly as he uses his art to challenge the culture and any message contrary what is life giving.
