Randy Travis' Health Has Improved & He Will Be Appearing at the Stars Behind the Stars

Randy Travis

Randy Travis, who has been a veteran musician in both country and Christian music, will be appearing at the STARS BEHIND THE STARS in support of the families of slain Dallas police officers. Returning back to health after suffering in 2013, this is one of the few rare public occasions Travis will attend.

Following his stroke in 2013, and despite physical therapy, Travis has been unable to sing or speak and has difficulty walking, having to rely on a cane. As of November 2014, he was slowly recovering, and could walk short distances without assistance and was relearning how to write and play the guitar, according to his then-fiancée Mary Davis.
