Most Anticipated Christian Releases in February
February will be an exciting month for Christian music releases. Here's a look at what's coming out next month and here's our most anticipated 4 new February releases!
4. Various Artists -- Gaither Homecoming ICON
A star-studded CD featuring the Hoppers, David Phelps, Ben Speer, Ivan Parker and many others, GAITHER HOMECOMING ICONcombines stellar vocal talents with life-giving messages that will strengthen your faith and put a spring in your step. Sing along with timeless selections recorded by these legendary gospel music mainstays. The album releases on February 29th.
3. Hillsong Kids -- Ruido Alegre
For the first time ever, Hillsong Kids Jr. presents an album (releases Feb 12) especially for preschoolers and early school age children. Ruido Alegra is a special Spanish collection, based on the fun and interactive songs on Crazy Noise, including a bonus track from Funny Man Dan.
More than products, Hillsong KIDS albums are resources, thoughtfully created for Hillsong Church's Children's Ministry. "For a long time we have wanted to create an album for this age group and we are so excited about producing this album for the preschooler," Hillsong Children's Pastor Dave Wakerley says. "Crazy Noise is full of brand new songs that your little ones will enjoy singing, dancing, and praising God to."
2. Hillsong Young and Free -- Youth Revival
Releases February 29th, Hillsong Young & Free is back with their second full length live album recorded at their home church in Sydney, Australia. The creative worship expression of Hillsong Church's current youth ministry, Hillsong Young & Free is set to continue their impact on the next generation and providing an entry point whereby hearts awaken to the light of Christ, captives are set free, and the name of Jesus is made known. With 3 Top 5 Hot AC/CHR radio singles and an infectious pop sound, this new collection of songs should prove to bring some energy to the worship scene.
1. Joey + Rory Feek -- Hymns that Are Important to Us
Country duo Joey + Rory Feek's final and their most touching album. Here the couple put their acoustic touches to hymns such as "I Surrender All," "Jesus Loves Me," "It is Well with My Soul" and 9 others. This all-new, acoustic-driven release showcases the authenticity and rich, warm vocals of Joey+Rory who have found strength during hard times through these timeless songs of the church.
