Lead Singer of Unspoken Matt Baird Releases Worship Album "Keeper of My Heart"
Matt Baird is the founder and lead singer of the Christian rock band Spoken. For nineteen years, Spoken has kept a heavy touring schedule. In between the band's tour dates, Matt plays tons of solo acoustic shows; which keeps him on the road nearly three weeks of every month.
Spoken recently finished recording their 8th album. The first single off that album, "Breathe Again", featured Matty Mullins from Memphis May Fire, and shot to #1 on the Billboard Christian Rock Charts. Giving the album four stars from New Release Today, Mary Nikkel states, "With Breathe Again, Spoken proves themselves to be on the cutting edge of the best elements of hard rock: haunting combinations of guitar tones and electronic elements, smooth vocals sending melodies soaring and lyrics that are as honest as they are ultimately redemptive." HM Magazine, says, "Breathe Again is a fresh take for this trio." Awarding the album four stars at Jesus Freak Hideout, Christopher Smith writes, "this project warrants many spins as it is one the strongest rock albums to come out this year."
Keeper of My Heart is a pure look into the heart of Matt Baird. With an AC/Worship feel, the album is sure to attract not only Spoken fans, but also an entirely new listening audience loyal to this genre. The album features 10 handcrafted songs filled with a clear message of faith, hope and love.
