Andrew Peterson “The Burning Edge of Dawn” Debuts at #2
One of Christian music's most beloved and respected singer/songwriters, Andrew Peterson, has reached a major milestone in his illustrious career. His new album, The Burning Edge Of Dawn, debuted at No. 2 on Billboard Current Contemporary Christian Top Albums Chart and in the Top Fifty for Billboard Top Albums Chart (all genres).
Peterson's last two projects debuted in the Top Ten with Counting Stars at No. 6 and Light for the Lost Boy at No. 9. The record features 10 new songs that were co-written by Peterson and the album's producer, Gabe Scott."Words can't express how grateful I am to God that these songs are making their way out into the world," says Peterson. "Numbers and charts don't really matter that much, but if something in this record can bring someone some hope or encouragement that matters to me a great deal. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped spread the word."
Up next for Peterson will be his third appearance at the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, November 21st for two shows at the Ryman Auditorium. He will then launch his 16th annual Behold The Lamb Of God Christmas Tour December 2nd in Evansville, IN with several of the concerts already sellouts.
