Kyle Smith and Lauren Sweeney Release Their New Worship EP "Be Exalted" (Watch Video)
Through a successful Kickstarter campaign, Kyle Smith & Lauren Sweeney have released their debut EP "Be Exalted." Featuring 5 new worship songs, they are already impacting the church with their self-composed "You Hold Me." You can now watch this talented duo's live video below.
Writing on their kickstarter campaign page, Smith and Sweeney introduce: "We met in the Fall of 2011 at Liberty University and began writing together almost immediately. From the first time we began writing together, we knew that we had something special. Both having hearts for worship and seeing others come to know the Lord through music, the songs began to come as we wrote together. The first song we ever wrote together was "You Hold Me" which was featured on the latest Liberty Campus Band album. To even have the song on the album amazed us because it began just in a room with our voices and a piano, never thinking that anyone would ever hear it. We've had the opportunity to watch the Lord use that song in the last two years in ways we never imagined, and it only confirms in us that this is what we were created to do, to write songs for the body of Christ and lead others in worshipping Him."
Tracklist:
1. Psalm 62
2. Be Exalted
3. You Hold Me
4. You Give Me Life
5. Search Me
