Happy New Year 2015 Greetings from Joel Osteen, Darlene Zschech, and Kathy Troccoli
A new year presents new opportunities. New reasons to give thanks to God. And new opportunities to serve Him. Here are some encouragements from today's finest church leaders about how we can face 2015 with His strength.
Joel Osteen, the senior pastor of Lakewood Church, encourages: "Do you know what else is just one sunrise away? Lamentations 3:23 tells us that God's mercy is available every single morning. Not just once a year, not just on special occasions, but His mercy is new with every sunrise. New mercy means that you haven't received it before. It's empowerment that you haven't experienced yet. It's greater levels of favor, grace and anointing to equip you to fulfill what He's called you to. Mercy doesn't just save us from punishment that we do deserve, it empowers us to receive blessing that we don't deserve!
Today I want to encourage you, as you write your resolutions, goals and dreams, meditate on the fact that God is a good God. He is with you and for you. His mercies are new every morning. Always remember, no matter what happens, no matter how many times you fall, He will empower you to get back up again. Any time you need a new beginning, simply call on His name. You don't have to wait for the New Year to have a new start with God! Because of the blood of Jesus, every day, you can receive His mercy, hope, love and forgiveness and be empowered to embrace the life of victory He has for you!"
Leader and pioneer of Hillsong Worship, Darlene Zschech reveals her worshipful heart when she writes on her blog: "So, as we enter 2015 with a grateful heart, rich in the things in life that truly matter and with a heart that is fully alive!
I KNOW, that as I rest in His finished work, He will not only continue to heal me, but He will make me FULLY awake to His ultimate plans and purpose.
I KNOW, that waiting on Him is a huge part of the future, that in the waiting, I will learn more of Gods nature and heart for others.
I KNOW, that rejoicing will be taken to a whole new level, and powerful faith, worship, love and intimacy will be the fruit of all going on in the spirit.
I KNOW, that the name of Jesus will mean even more as I stand in stronger authority as we speak His name over all.
I KNOW, that His love rests upon me like a warm, thick blanket that makes me feel SO comforted and safe no matter what is happening. As I put my HOPE in Him, His love will engulf me, and I will be stolen away to a place no one else can go, because its a place reserved for Him and me. There is a place in Christ designed just for you too.
I KNOW, that by His grace I can encourage others to seek first the Kingdom of God, with all they are, for evermore. Every day matters.
So, be safe wherever you are today, bring the new year in well, keep Jesus at the centre, this year of GRACE is outstretched before us to be lived well, one Holy Spirit fuelled day at a time."
On her facebook, contemporary Christian artist and speaker Kathy Troccoli writes:
"2015...
resolutions--firm decisions to do or not to do something.
look up.
hold on.
wait with hope.
because---you can trust God with his resolutions.
love to all, kt "
So, here's wishing all our readers a blessed 2015!
