'Grimm' Season 4 Episode 2 'Octopus Man' Latest News, Updates and Spoilers: 'Grimm-free' Nick vs. 'Octo-Dude'
Starting "Grimm" fourth season with a Grimm-free Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) and a new whatchamacallit wesen was a great start. Inserting a new Grimm in season three, Trubel Rubel (Jacqueline Toboni), made viewers think it's a 'save the world team-up' for the TV series, but that wasn't the case. So is Nick happy about losing his 'Grimm-power'? Seems like it. Everybody will have to adjust to the 'new' Nick.
Life goes on. With or without 'Grimm' power the Wesens are coming. In the premiere episode, followers saw a new wesen called a Gedachtnis Esser. The face of this wesen looks like an octopus head and with his short tentacles can steal memories and leave the person in a vegetable state. Nick and Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby) found the 'Octo-dude' with the help of Trubel. How they will capture the wesen might be revealed in the next episode.
Trubel, now the only Grimm in Portland, also faces some trouble herself. Beheading an agent will not just go away easily especially when another agent, Special Agent Chavez (Elizabeth Rodriguez), saw the picture book of wesens. Chavez is a Steinadler wesen herself.
Meanwhile, Sgt. Wu (Reggie Lee) got a lot of airtime in the premiere episode. Talking about 'monsters inside people' made Hank almost reveal the truth. But the doctor who operated on Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) interrupted their conversation. Ugh! Talking about Captain Renard, is he the first casualty for the fourth season? The first episode ended with him flat-lining. And, who is that mysterious visitor outside his hospital room?
In "Grimm" season 4 Episode 2 'Octopus Head', viewers will get some answers. While Hank and Nick figure out how to capture the 'Octo-dude', Adalind Scahde (Claire Coffee) will also return in the newest episode. Adalind, a hexenbiest, will meet the mother of Captain Renard, also a hexenbiest. Remember the mysterious visitor outside his hospital bed? Turns out she is the mother and having two hexenbiest in one place is not a good idea! According to the mother, only a hexenbiest can get rid of another hexenbiest! That is one showdown "Grimm" fanatics shouldn't miss!
Other characters in the series are: Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), Monroe (Salas Weir Mtchell) and Rosalie Calvert (Bree Turner).
Guest stars for the newest episode are Louis Lombard as Captain Renard's mother, Alexis Denisof as Viktor Beckendorf and Dan Kramer as King Frederick, father of Captain Renard.
David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf wrote the second episode under the directorship of Terence O'Hara.
"Grimm" Season 4 Episode 2 'Octopus Man' airs Oct. 31, 2014.
