'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: New Theory Revealed Based On Buffy The Vampire Slayer
The season 6 of "The Vampire Diaries" has introduced Liam as the new love interest of Elena, yet the real question is, will it last? The new guy seems great and looking for someone like Elena. However, the wrong thing is that a vampire can't date a human without revealing her very own secrets.
During the premiere of season 6, Liam was introduced as the new classmate of Elena in the pre-med program. His casting described him as the cocky yet good natured guy and Elena is known for going out with arrogant types of guys. Still, her instinct was to acknowledge him. After Alaric deleted her memories of Damon, she noticed Liam and wanted to set him up with Caroline. But, Liam was the only interest for Elena. In the episode 3 of "The Vampire Diaries", he kissed her at the party.
Now, Elena needs to figure out if she really likes Liam. Luckily, Julie Plec, the showrunner, dropped some hints regarding the new flame of Elena's character as the season begins.
According to E Online, Plec said that they have considered adding an element into her bare world, which is part of the daily human existence she is trying to live and move on. There is also a character that will float around in her college world who clearly has the eyes for her. Whether she has interest with him or not, that is a bit too soon to say.
In episode 5, Elena will give an invitation to Liam in a corn maze.
According to International Business Times, fans of "The Vampire Diaries" will probably look for some familiar descriptions. Damon is in the hell dimension, Liam seems cute and safe, and Elena is trying to live in a normal life. So, can this really last? If this is a Scott Hope situation, Liam will be the news yesterday soon as Damon is already on his way back. Once Angel escaped the hell, Buffy will concentrate on her ex, yet Elena might not react the same way as before. If Damon will come back and Elena can't remember anything about him, he will make her fall in love again or steal her from Liam.
