Chadwick Boseman As Marvel's Black Panther
According to The Washington Post, after several months of speculation, Marvel has finally made it official and revealed that Chadwick Boseman will be the one who'll portray Black Panther.
Made by Stan Lee with the assistance of Jack Kirby, the character is known for being the very first black superhero in the mainstream American comic books.
T'Challa is the king of Wakanda, which is a fictional nation. He joined the Avengers in year 1968 and he will be featured in costume for the first time in the movie "Captain America: Civil War" which is said to be released on May 6, 2016 before being off into his very own film on Nov. 3, 2017.
Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, will have a huge role on Tuesday at the Marvel fan event at El Capitan Theater of Disney. He also said that he was happy with the casting of Boseman as it did not leak the way the trailer for the upcoming movie "The Avengers: Age of Ultron", which spreads online a week before its announced and supposed to be planned debut after the "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" in ABC.
Based on Variety, the plot of "Captain America: Civil War" is the key for the cinematic universe of Marvel, considering the physical battle and big screen moral will play out in the multiple movies. In comic books, Spider-Man is the center of the storyline that involves the superheroes of the world having to register with the government organization that is backed by the billionaire Tony Stark.
However, since Marvel is unable to integrate Spider-Man in the film, Sony has sole rights and Black Panther will appear to take the role of the web slinger. Feige said that the storyline is big and added that this is actually the cinematic universe's Civil War, which is inspired by the comic book universe, yet this is based on all films including "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".
The 37-year-old actor hails from Anderson in South Carolina. He had roles in "Lincoln Heights" as well as "Persons Unknown" before making the switch to movies.
