Alien Isolation Review PS4: The First Game To Be Recognized As An Amazing Adaptation Of The Original Horror Film
If you can't still decide on which is the better alien film between "Alien" or "Aliens", just get over it. The long debate has been around for a couple of years, but the "Alien: Isolation" has been without a doubt the best alien game ever. In terms of video games, this one is the most amazing and unmatched.
Primarily, the "Alien: Isolation" is perhaps the first game to be recognized as an amazing adaptation of the original horror film. If you have seen the game, you will notice that for the most part of the alien video games, they were drawn from the Alien's gung-ho action aesthetics and space marine iconography. The developer Creative Assemble makes an interesting alteration of choosing to look at the "Alien" film by Ridley Scott. The video game borrowed the idea of the suspense-infused story, claustrophobic environments and Alien-focused theme.
According from Game Review, the film's roots also influence the "Alien: Isolation" lead characters. The player will play as Amanda Ripley, the daughter of the epic hero who was brought to life in the main films by Sigourney Weaver. Amanda is independent, strong and dependable, traits that are also evident with her mother. As a big fan of her mom, she also follows her path and becomes an engineer working on the intriguing Weyland-Yutani Corporation.
The best and most promising element of the "Alien: Isolation" for PS4 lies on its titular creature. For most of the times, you will experience stalking by the Xenomorph. The game returns the Xenomorph's status as a horror character. You should be aware that this new video game is eternal and remorseless in its hunt against you. If you happened to be spotted, there is a very high possibility that you will get killed in one of the most unimaginable and horrible demise animations.
Moreover, this video game is a first-person survival horror game which creatively catches the tension and fear induced by Ridley's Scott's 1979 classic film. Players will experience haunting scenes in an atmosphere that is consistently dreaded with plenty of unpredictable risk brought by the merciless xenomorph which is stalking and slaying characters in the dark. As a player, you have to look for the witty solution and best strategies to get away from the villain and succeed in your mission.
