In this week's episode "Boxed In", it's all about saving a young boy from a man wearing a creepy Halloween mask. In the promo video we can see a masked perpetrator abducting a little boy and locking him inside a box. Prior to the incident, a young boy just reappeared out of nowhere a year after he went missing during the "Halloween". Due to the recurring situation of appearing and disappearing act of young boys in San Diego, the local police sought the help of the BAU.
With a proven track record of safely hiding the boys for at most year, the BAU must race against time to save the young boy from its perpetrator.
Here's an official synopsis of the "Boxed In" episode released by CBS and reported in Spoilers Guide.
"When a young boy who went missing in San Diego on "Halloween" suddenly reappears one year later, the BAU must work fast when another trick-or-treater disappears under similar circumstances".
Interestingly, Thomas Gibson's son, Travis (Jake McCauley) plays a significant role in the fifth episode as one of the missing boy's friends.
Unreality Primetime claims that, "This isn't the first time one of the main cast have had their real family life on the show. As AJ Cook's real life son Mekhai Allan Andersen plays her on screen son Henry LaMontagne too!"
According to a CBS official website, "Boxed In" main casts are: A.J. Cook (Jenniffer JJ Jareau), Thomas Gibson (Aaron Hotchner), Shemar Moore (Derek Morgan), Matthew Gray Gubler (Dr. Spencer Reid), Jennifer Love Hewitt (Kate Callahan), Penelope Cruz (Kirsten Vangsness) and Joe Mantegna (David Rossi).
Virgil Williams penned the "Boxed In". "Criminal Minds" Halloween tribute will air on October 29, Wednesday on CBS.
