Taylor Swift New Interview Talks About Her Experience on 'The Voice' and Her Biggest Fears, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Taylor Swift releases her new album 1989 next week and while doing interviews she stopped by to speak to her good friend Ellen on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". You can check out the interview above.
As is a key trait of Ellen, she is good about getting off topic and hoping to divulge some personal or funny information from her guest. She got the 24-year-old singer to start discussing her biggest fears. Ellen brings up the singers fear of sea urchins, which she explains "are like a grenade."
"They're sitting there waiting to completely injure you," she shares. "It's clear water, you can't see if a sea urchin is right there, and then you step on one. It has barbs and it goes into whatever it touches. Then you have to go to the emergency room and it has to be surgically removed. You could lose your foot, you could lose your hand, you could lose your hand trying to get it off your foot."
The full interview will air on Monday's (Oct. 27) episode of "Ellen", the same date her album releases.
Taylor Swift will also be joining "The Voice" Season 7 on NBC next week as the key advisor for this season's 'knockout rounds'.
Swift tweeted pictures of herself last month with the judges writing, "Way excited about being a 'key advisor' on @NBCTheVoice. Here are some pics of me and the coaches that I key advised."
Swift will help all four teams as the 'key advisor' in the same role that Coldplay singer Chris Martin did last year in Season 6.
"The Voice" season has been a ratings hit with new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, along with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
You can tune in to all of the action of Season 7 of "The Voice" on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8/7c on NBC.
