'Avatar 2' Release Date Confirmed: Return to Pandora Updates
Back in 2009 when the original "Avatar" was released, it blew away many minds with breathtaking technology, animation and plot. Who could have thought of such an extraterrestrial exploration which dealt with belief through imagination? The movie was in fact one of the highest grossing projects with total earnings of around $3 billion dollars.
It seems that James Cameron now wants to rewrite history of cinema after announcing two sequels to this movie, which are rumored to be shot at once but will be released one year apart. According to the Christian Post, the first sequel is due for release in December 2015 and will be titled "Return to Pandora." This movie is expected to take off right from where the last part ended as now Jake has lost his human form and continues to live with Neytiri and her people.
Various "Avatar 2" spoilers reveal that the threat on Pandora is far from over even after humans leave it. Pandora natives must unite and prepare to battle with the evil as the story shifts to ocean life. There have been various reports on how Cameron is really excited to shoot ocean life on Pandora creating a lot of scope for newer life forms and much more. However, the director has cleared to the assumptions that upcoming movie will be an underwater adventure.
Meanwhile fans try to speculate what they can expect to experience in this upcoming adventure scheduled for next year's release. Screen Rant talked to a number of fans and believes that the makers are building on the original movie, but will definitely need to work on narrative with so much competition around. The likes of "The Hobbit" trilogy have set some difficult standards to meet especially when it comes to the animation part. The fans expect alien setting to get more visually brilliant with improved 3D technology over the last five years or so when last "Avatar" movie was released. And as both the sequels "Avatar 2" and "Avatar 3" are being shot simultaneously, it will be a difficult schedule for director, actors, and the producers to keep the things going smoothly.
