Apple's iPad Air 2, Pre-orders Available Starting Today

The most awaited iPad Air 2 can now be pre-ordered by those who really cannot wait to get their hands on one. Even the iPad mini 3 is now available for pre-order, according to VR-Zone.

Apple unveiled their latest iPad models in a press conference last Thursday, and the newest iPad, or the iPad Air 2 was the star of that event. Meanwhile, the iPad Mini 3 is still the same with the previous version with minor tweaks. It only added feature is the Touch ID fingerprint scanner and a new gold and white colors to choose from.

In contrast, the iPad Air 2 is a totally new device. The new flagship of Apple Tablet has an overhauled design, thinner than the first version of iPad Air tablet, and the battery lasts as long. Like the iPad Mini 3, it also has the new technology of Touch ID fingerprint scanner, has A8X processor and it's amazingly 180 times faster than the original iPad. iPad Air 2 also has a new 8 megapixel iSight camera on the back and an improved FaceTime HD camera up front.

Apple Online Store can now be used to pre-order the new iPad gadgets. iPad mini 3 starts at $399 for a 16GB model, then it also has a $729 worth of 128GB model that has Wi-Fi and cellular radios. Meanwhile, iPad Air 2 is just $100 more expensive, starting at $499 for a 16GB model with Wi-Fi. Buyers can also opt to get the $829 128GB model, which already comes with Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity.

In select markets which include US, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China (Wi-Fi configurations only), Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macau (Wi-Fi configurations only), Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. Apple will begin the shipping of the pre-orders by late next week.
