'The Sims 4' Mac Version - Game Title Finally Being Made Available for Apple Computers and Other Revealed Facts about Its Release
"The Sims" is, and will probably always be, one of the most popular simulation games in the world. From its humble beginnings, the title has grown to become a massive franchise. And with the latest installment, "The Sims 4," fans of the game are rejoicing. They have waited for quite a while since "The Sims 3" has been released a few years back.
There is one problem though: owners and users of Apple Macintosh computers are not able to play the game. Ever since it was released, two months ago, as Bustle has reported, Mac users have been unable to enjoy the game as other computer gamers already have. There has been no "The Sims 4" Mac version released when the title was first initially launched, and up to now, there is not one available still. A spokesperson told in a statement that, "We are focused on the PC version. We have no updates on the Mac at this time."
Mac users do not have to worry too much though. A Mac version for "The Sims 4" is already in the works, and this piece of news has been confirmed by none other than the producer of the game, Ryan Vaughan.
According to International Business Time Australia, the Mac version for the fourth installment, of the popular game title, has already been hinted before. However, during the time that this was revealed, there were no other facts or information shared. In a more recent interview though, IBTimes was able to talk directly to Vaughan during a holiday preview held by Electronic Arts. The Sims' producer told that "The Sims 4" Mac version is currently being developed. He pointed out that, "It's something that our players really, really want so that's in the works."
Aside from that, no other information about the Mac version for the fourth installment of "The Sims" was shared by Vaughan. He said that the main reason for this is because the version is "still open for question." Since this version is still under development, the company cannot give an exact date for its release yet.
Aside from news about "The Sims 4" Mac version, other gamers also want to know if the title will be made available to next generation gaming consoles, including the Sony PlayStation 4 and the Microsoft Xbox One. According to The Fuse Joplin, Vaughan did not divulge any information on these yet.
