Apple's iMac With Retina 5k Display - A First Look at the Latest Macintosh Product Featuring Today's Most Innovative Display Screen Technology
"14.7 million pixels. And the power to do beautiful things with them." This is how Apple has described its newest iMac. Ever since Apple's iMac with Retina 5k display has been revealed to the public, a lot of consumers are wondering what "beautiful things" can be done with the newest computer product from the said company. According to Apple Inc., this product was developed and engineered in such a way that it will provide users with the best display possible.
According to PC Mag, Apple revealed the newest iMac with Retina 5K display at the same time that it updated its iPad product line and released information about a new Mac mini. It has also pointed out that the term "Retina 5K display" referred to its 5,120 by 2,880 display. This set of numbers means that the screen has a pixel measurement that is 4 times greater than the regular 27-inch iMac. It was also cited that the latest Apple offering sports a pixel measurement 67 percent higher than a standard 4K display.
As Yahoo has reported, as of today, the iMac With Retina 5k Display is now considered to be the display screen that has the highest resolution. With an average television having a 1920x1080 resolution, you can already see that the 5120x2880 display, of the latest Apple product, is no doubt superior to it. This kind of display would be very useful for those who are in the photo and video editing industry. Designers who has the need to make certain that screen images are "as crisp as possible" would also find the latest iMac screen very beneficial to their work.
PC Advisor UK explained that, in addition to the considerable increase on the pixel numbers of Apple's iMac with 5K Retina display, the company also decided to improve the overall oxide thin-film transistor (TFT) construction, as well as the compensation film of the device. These upgrades will more efficiently regulate the process that takes place when light goes out of the screen's panel.
